To the DFCB board members.

I would like to let you all know that the agreement with the DFCB is officially signed and we are moving forward. A formal press release will be disseminated by both the University of New Haven, and DFCB before the end of the month.

I would like to thank everyone who assisted in this long endeavor, and a big thanks to Jan and Kim who helped keep this process moving over the last year with me.

I would also like to thank Seth Cowand who volunteered to fill the position of DFCB Secretary and Yalkin Demirkaya who volunteered to fill the position of DFCB VP.

Now the fun part starts we will begin. We will be working with UNH to update the Digital Forensic Certified Practitioner (DFCP) training material and testing.  Once we have completed that task the Digital Forensics Certified Associate (DFCA) process will all be updated. To achieve these updates, we will need your assistance to help lead/guide some of these processes, so please let me know if you are interested in assisting in these tasks.

Also, the website will be updated with the new links to the UNH site on our site (and our web page linked on their site).  So, if you have ideas on updating the site, or input of what you think works, or dislike about the web page please also let me know.

This is great news for the DFCB, and this will be a rebuilding year for us, so please let’s take this journey together, any input or suggestions will be a help.  Also, if you can spare the time to assist with these new endeavors it would be a great help.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks
